In late August 2015 I started my journey as a PICU Registered Nurse with Mercy Ships for 6 months in Madagascar. I returned to the ship in September 2016 in Cotonou, Benin for another 3 months and this is my blog about the journey.
Mercy Ship is a world class hospital ship that provides free medical care and surgery to the poorest people in the world. With an incredibly wide range of services including maxillofacial surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, cataract surgeries, and dental care, people's lives are changed, sight is restored and the trajectory of lives are changed with new found hope.
